The HPRA is pleased to support the National Committee in organising a training event for stakeholders regarding developments in Replacement.
Aim of the event
The National Committee is pleased to offer this event aimed towards researchers, animal care staff, designated veterinarians, animal welfare bodies, and members of ethics committees.
The key objectives are to:
- explore emerging Replacement technologies,
- deliver an introduction and update to the EURL ECVAM databases,
- provide a collaborative space for idea exchange and to discuss challenges and successes in applying Replacement, and
- determine how the NCPA can assist in achieving objectives highlighted during the day.
The event will also provide an opportunity to address questions from delegates and to participate in workshops.
The event will take place as an in-person event, providing opportunities to network with other delegates as well as with specialist experts, National Committee members and HPRA SAP personnel.
Attendance at this event will be considered as equivalent to 5 hours for the purpose of meeting HPRA CPD requirements.
