Climate


Dublin's climate from July to December experiences a range of temperatures and weather conditions:

July

  • Temperature: 14–19°C (57–66°F)
  • Rainfall: ~80–100 mm
  • Conditions: Warmest month of the year, with long daylight hours and mild evenings. Rain is still common, but often in short bursts.

August

  • Temperature: 13–19°C (55–66°F)
  • Rainfall: ~90–110 mm
  • Conditions: Still summer, but slightly cooler and wetter than July. Good for outdoor activities, though showers are frequent.

September

  • Temperature: 11–17°C (52–63°F)
  • Rainfall: ~90–120 mm
  • Conditions: Start of autumn. Days shorten, and rainfall increases. Still mild, with beautiful autumn colours emerging.

October

  • Temperature: 9–14°C (48–57°F)
  • Rainfall: ~120–130 mm (one of the wettest months)
  • Conditions: Cooler and wetter. Windier conditions begin, especially along the coasts.

November

  • Temperature: 6–10°C (43–50°F)
  • Rainfall: ~110–120 mm
  • Conditions: Darker, colder, and wetter. Wind increases, and daylight hours drop significantly.

December

  • Temperature: 4–8°C (39–46°F)
  • Rainfall: ~120–125 mm
  • Conditions: Coldest month in this range. Rain is frequent, and snow is rare but possible in higher elevations. Shortest days of the year.

Dublin's weather is known for being unpredictable, so it's always a good idea to be prepared for a mix of conditions.
